Melting Vinyl Presents Vive La France 2011
From 27/01/2011 to 29/01/2011
From 27th - 29th January 2011, Melting Vinyl, in association with Bureau Export and Les Inrockuptibles, welcomes to brighton an impressive collection of French musicians for the third annual Vive la France Festival. Making its home in the bohemian and cosmopolitan North Laines four venues will provide outlets for an electic mix of explosive indie/pop, enchanting chanson and French-infused world music guaranteed to impress both connoisseurs and newscomers to the scene.
In addition to the music, no showcase of French culture would be complete without a celebration of the Gallic art of food and wine. Providing the gastronomic flavour to Vive la France! 2011 are relaxed French bistrot Mange Tout on Trafalgar Street and the new venue to enjoy wine, beer and bites, Plateau in Bartholomew Square also home to the festival's intimate after hours DJ sets. This venue will provide audience and artists alike with a taste of France to accompany the feast of music on offer.
