Twice a Week

As part of a healthy lifestyle, doctors recommend 5 portions of fruit and veg a day, some manner of sports thrice a week, and two weekly doses of French.

To be on your way to be fit as a fiddle, join their new Twice a Week sessions starting on 18 June. There are different starting times to fit your schedule (8.00am, 10.00am, 12.00pm, 1.30pm, 5.45pm or 7.00pm) and each session last one hour and a half.  That's 30 hours over 10 weeks for £290 - enough to keep the doctor away without emptying your purse!

Raconter des salades

Literally: to tell salads
In English : to spin yarns

A modified  version of "Vendre sa salade" (to sell one's lettuce), which means: to try to convince, persuade.  It offers a great image: start with a bed of lettuce background, add some tomato and carrots for color, flesh it out with a bit of ham or chicken, and dress it up with vinaigrette for a delicious and believable story.
