This was an evening I shall not forget!
The Louise Blouin Foundation is building of rare beauty where we were welcomed with lovely cocktails and canapes.
The concert opened with a distinguished solo pianist whose playing had the most spine tingling beauty of sound. She was followed by a young duo performing Ravel's Sonata for Violin and Piano which is a really jazzy cocktail of a piece in placed.
Concluding the evening was the 2nd half Dramatic Monologue with singer actress Sian Jones who compelled us as Debussy's tragic first wife Lilly. Her acting absorbed us into all of Lilly's various states - joy, uncertainty, betrayal...interwoven with some of his most unforgettable songs which were performed with absolute conviction again by the singer and sheer skill and beauty of sound from her pianist.
Bravo and MORE!!!!!!
