David Foenkinos will be at the French Bookshop on Friday 10th October between 2pm and 4.30pm to sign his last book " Nos séparations".

This 34 years old novelist has already published six novels to date, including "Inversion de l'idiotie", " De l'influence de deux Polonais" (winner of the François-Mauriac de l'Académie Française prize) and "The erotic potential of my wife", his first book translated in english.

"Nos séparations" is the story of the most improbable couple which could exist. Fritz is the son of hippies from the sixties, Marie the daughter of a bourgeois catholic family. They will have a very chaotic love life, from love to hate, through break-ups and heartaches... They will have children, but not together. One day, these children, one boy and a girl who do not know each other, will meet in the Père Lachaise Cimetery, during a pilgrimage on the grave of Jim Morrison...
