 May 1944. A five-woman commando unit parachutes into occupied France on a daring and dangerous mission to protect the secret of the D-Day Landings and eliminate Colonel Heindrich, head of the German counter intelligence. Sophie Marceau leads an all-star cast (including Julie Depardieu, Marie Gillain, Deborah François and Maya Sansa) in this thrilling wartime adventure based on real events and people. After the Liberation of France, General de Gaulle neglected the role played by these female agents, many of whom had given their lives for the cause, in order to highlight the heroes who had fought alongside him in the Free French Forces. Female Agents sets out to make amends for this injustice by turning the spotlight on the women who, in the shadows, worked to defeat the Nazis.
