Catherine Ringer sings Les Rita Mitsouko

Catherine Ringer will perform songs written by herself and the late and much-missed Fred Chichin on April 15th at Koko. The singer will pick up with the band that she and Fred put together for the release of their 2007 album 'Variety' (Because Music).

28 years after they first started making music together, Ringer and Chichin recorded “Variety” their first album in English, a throwback to the mainstream sounds which the band skirted in the 1980s. Songs come shrouded in dry ice, synth melodies sway like lighters in the air, beside middle-eights that show no fear of the saxophone solo.
Catherine Ringer performing at Koko, the famous London's venue, will be the opportunity for listeners to discover why two generations of French music lovers have taken this rebellious, eclectic band to their hearts.
It promises to be an exceptional show which will span the length of the charismatic, eccentric and Frenchy band's career.
