Le Pont de la Tour
One of London’s most famous restaurants, Le Pont de la Tour is renowned for its waterfront setting, modern French food and vast wine list. The restaurant is an elegant and luxurious room with river facing windows that bathe the room in light throughout the day. The cooking is firmly rooted in French tradition, with dishes prepared using a light touch and carefully chosen products and presented in an unfussy yet appetizing way. The Bar & Grill is more informal than the main restaurant. It specialises in seafood, crustacea, salads, grills and of course Champagne. Pont is famous for its plateaux de fruits de mer, which are created from the crustacea altar in the bar; a riot of the freshest Colchester rock oysters, Scottish langoustines, Cherrystone clams, Dorset crab, mussels, cockles, winkles, whelks, shallot vinegar, lemon & mayonnaise
