Drama A small town with a long pebbled beach. At one hand of the beach is the pebble treatment factory where Marie works. Her boyfriend Paul does not understand her dreamy temperament. Marie is getting more and more uneasy: the dreams of her youth are happening elsewhere. She yearns to leave. Pebbles, which focuses on the ephemeral aspect of moments of life in movement, is Julie Lopes-Curval's first film: it was awarded the Caméra d'or at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival.
