In a not so distant future, people who are single, according to the laws of The City, are arrested and taken to The Hotel, where they have to find a matching mate in under forty-five days. If they fail, they are then transformed into the animal of their choice and released into The Woods. A desperate Man (Colin Farrell) escapes from The Hotel and into The Woods where The rebel Loners live.
A film as beautiful as its poster but also disturbing where you could easily imagine such a world becoming reality...
The film won Cannes' Prix du Jury in 2015.
