Fanny, the second part of Daniel Auteuil’s Marseilles Trilogy revival, begins where the last story ended, this time concentrating on its titular heroine’s efforts to survive back home while her lover sails the seven seas. With Fanny heartbroken that her lover Marius has left, she has nothing to do but hang around the harbour bar. Because she is pregnant, Fanny can't wait on Marius forever and, wary of the shame a baby out of wedlock will bring on her family, ponders the marriage proposal made by Panisse, a kind but elderly businessman. However everything changes once Marius comes back to the harbour...
