Jeanne leaves her village in the North of France to look to her little
brother, Alain, 13, who has run away from home. She finds him in Toulon
at her sister Maïté's house, who has just married a young North African
man, Nourredine. There, she meets Stéphane, a right-wing extremist, then
Saïd, Nourredine's brother, and falls in love first with one and then
the other, upsetting all their lives. 'Les Innocents' is considered
Téchiné's most accomplished and moving film.
