This documentary fiction explores questions of race and identity among black and white high school students in Abidjan. The arrival of a new student, Nadine, is the starting point for an analysis of interracial relationships at one of the city's high schools. Brought together by Jean Rouch, the students play themselves in a “fictional” story which unfolds in terms of the new relationships between white and black, bringing to the screen ties of friendship and affection.
