The London debut of two shooting stars of French jazz – an elegant and passionate combination of accordion and saxophone that echoes a French love affair with the music’s tradition.

Emile Parisien and Vincent Peirani have a voice that is entirely their own, however, making elegant yet passionate chamber jazz, distinguished by Peirani’s gift for melody and muscular rhythmic pulse complemented by the beguiling, wholly personal sound of Parisien’s soprano saxophone.

Performing music from her new album Solo Gemini, leading British pianist Nikki Yeoh opens the show, darting between kinetic rhythms and witty melodic flourishes.
