free Hervé Constant exhibition at GX Gallery - from 4 until 28 May
From 04/05/2016 at 08:30 to 28/05/2016 at 17:00
Herve Constant was born in Morocco, raised and educated in France, and is now settled in London. A peripatetic chronicler, he has been adapting to various cultures and environments all his life, a path both chosen by and imposed on him. It is perhaps no surprise that theatre was his first calling, an art form requiring constant shape shifting, emotionally as well as physically. Hervé Constant studied at the Conservatoire National de Musique de Toulon, followed by two years at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Techniques du Theatre in Paris, and further studies in etching and silkscreen at the Beaux-Arts de Toulon.
Hervé’s work is a mixture of different interests, social and cultural influences. Recent projects involve video, photos and sounds and Artist's Books.
The exhibition will also feature paintings of Alice Wisden and 3D printings of Daniel Warnecke.
Private viewing on Wednesday 4 May from 7pm.
