Lou Doillon at the Bush Hall on 27 April
27/04/2016 from 19:30 to 22:00
Lou Doillon will be performing in London for the occasion of the international release of her new album Lay Low (released in the UK on 4 March), which was recorded in Montréal in collaboration with Taylor Kirk, from the Canadian group Timber Timbre.
Featuring 11 titles entirely composed by Lou Doillon, Lay Low is sprinkled with a few dissonances and rythmic irregularities, which reflect the artist's musical style. Lou considers indeed that music needs to be "human and vibratory" and finds "the digital mechanical frequency too robotic". One of the songs, "Where to start", has already been chosen by Jean-Marc Vallée as the soundtrack for his next film, Demolition, with Jake Gyllenhall and Naomi Watts.
This concert is one of the not-to-be-missed French events in London this year. Under 18's must be accompanied.
