French Film Sundaes at the Cinema Museum once a month

Jon Davies, tutor in French cinema at Morley College, introduces his thriller session, taking place at the Cinema Museum once a month. Each session will take a look at the particular quality of French thrillers and the screening of some of the rarer examples that deserve seeing.

Museum opens at 1.30pm for event at 2.30pm. Sessions finish by 5.30pm. 

  • February 28th: 'The Raven' ('Le Corbeau') - In some of the best thrillers, everyone becomes a suspect leaving the audience guessing to the end. With 'The Raven', a whole town comes under suspicion.
  • March 20th: Le Samouraï - The tense story of the loner, whether killer or the pursued. Alain Delon at his finest in 'The Godson' as the paid hitman.
  • April 24th: 'Death in a French Garden' ('Péril en la demeure') - Femmes fatale for a reason! In 'Death in a French Garden', two women get their teeth into a young innocent in an extraordinary murder mystery.
