Early Works: The Dardennes at the Open City Documentary Festival

From 19/06/2015 at 19:30 to 21/06/2015 at 17:30

Across three different events, Open City Documentary Festival will be screening five documentaries by Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne. The brothers produced and directed over 60 documentaries before making their move over to fiction in the late 1980s. These screenings offer a rare opportunity to see a selection of their early documentary work, the traces of which can be found running through the concerns and themes of their later celebrated fiction films, including 'Two Days, One Night' starring Marion Cotillard.
