Open City Documentary Festival at Ciné Lumière

The Open City Documentary Festival takes place every year in London in order to "nurture and champion the art of creative documentary and non-fiction filmmakers". 

Ciné Lumière is taking part in this event by screening 4 francophone documentaries:

- Death of the Serpent God (La Mort du Dieu Serpent), France, 2014, 91 mins, dir. Damien Froidevaux (in French with English subtitles) - Thu 18 June @ 8.30pm

- I Am the People (Je suis le Peuple), France, 2014, 111 mins, dir. Anne Roussillon (in Arabic with French subtitles) - Sat 20 June @ 6.30pm

- The Dardennes: Early Works, Belgium, 1980 & 1982, 52 mins & 55 mins, dir. Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne (in French with English subtitles) - Sun 21 June @ 4.30pm - For the War to End The Walls Should Have Crumbled (Pour que la Guerre s'achève, les Murs devaient d'écrouler) and Lessons from a University on the Fly (Leçons d'une Université volante)
