It's so nice - Cie Oh My God
09/12/2014 from 20:00 to 22:00
Directed, written and played by Lula Béry & Barbara Sylvain. Mary, Queen of Scots, and Elizabeth I, Queen of England: two 16th century icons whose inextricably linked destinies have caused as much ink as blood to flow.
Two present day actresses, Lula Béry and Barbara Sylvain, will play these two queens from times past.
Part physical theatre, part comedy, this bilingual show is very loosely based on Stefan Zweig’s Marie Stuart. Through historical inquiry and poetic invention, Barbara and Lula will go back to the roots of their ambivalent relationship; touching upon power struggles and codes of representation and exploring the blurred boundaries between truth and falsehood, the sublime and the ridiculous.
In both in French and in English with English subtitles
