free Mediterranean Homesick Blues authors to appear at National Geographic Store

18/07/2013 from 18:00 to 19:00

The authors of Mediterranean Homesick Blues Ben Chatfield and Enzo Cilenti are to appear at National Geographic London Store as part of the Cultural Calendar

Written by PR agency OscarMike’s founder Ben Chatfield with contributions from actor Enzo Cilenti, Mediterranean Homesick Blues has been described as “The Catcher in the Rye set in Coventry and Côte d’Azur from the point of view of a repressed and charmingly naïve Englishman”. The book is a diary-turned-cultural series of events of life-affirming disasters against a backdrop of the glamour and grime of the French Riviera. It chronicles one man’s attempts to love and understand the French, acts of serial romanticism, the use of the subjunctive mood as well as the quest for the ultimate sandwich. It has been released to great acclaim and has been described as “very funny and deeply touching” as well as “witty and insightful”.

Address:

102 Brompton Road
