And God created women
14/03/2013 from 20:30 to 00:00
Rediscover the film that launched Brigitte Bardot and transformed her into a sex-symbol. The projection will be followed by a Q&A with Ginette Vincendeau (Professor of Film Studies, King’s College London), author of Brigitte Bardot (BFI, Palgrave Macmillan, 2013).
Synopsis
An 18-year-old girl, shortly after her marriage, finds she is attracted to other men, particularly her brother-in-law. This was the film in which the new sex symbol reared her pretty, poutting, kittenish head and put St Tropez on the map.
