Gabrielle Ducomble

Gabrielle Ducomble Quartet

16/03/2013 from 20:00 to 23:30

Rising star, Gabrielle brings her special blend of French charm and sophistication to Map Studio Cafe. Singing in English and French, she will present her recent album J'ai Deux Amours in Parisian-style jazz with a tango touch.

The album offers a fresh interpretation of classic songs written by Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Serge Gainsbourg and Astor Piazzolla. Her band, including some of Europe’s finest musicians, provides the perfect anchor for her superlative vocals. Expect an atmospheric evening of beautiful melodies, inventive solos and Gabrielle’s spine-tingling voice.

In 2011, she won both Rainlore Jazz Albums if the Year and the Best Debut Album, for J'ai Deux Amours
