Concert les Fauristes: Vivaldi, hymns to the Virgin Mary. An evening of Italian Baroque music

From 24/11/2012 at 19:30 to 25/11/2012 at 19:00

Les Fauristes have been busy since their last concert in June where they sang Mozart's Requiem at St Paul's Knightsbridge with 3 choirs from France. After a well deserved summer break, their next concert is coming soon at the end of November 2012 !

After a year of Classical repertoire with mainly Mozart pieces, they are now tackling a completely different style of music and to get into the Christmas season musical spirit, they invite you to an evening of Italian baroque music. Antonio Vivaldi will be the main composer for this concert, with his beautiful Magnificat, somewhat less known than his Gloria but well worth discovering.
Les Fauristes will be accompanied by a string quartet composed of students from the RAM and the Guildhall, organist Rémi Bourdais, and conducted by Blandine de Raulin
