Lilly Zazou brings together influences from jazz and classical musical backgrounds. This fusion of cultures and inspirations has created a unique take on inter-war French jazz and chanson.

The friendly and dynamic group is made up of Elise Lefay (singer), Ru Pattison (alto saxophonist), Henry Spencer (trumpeter), Andrew Robb (bass), Rob Brockway (piano) and Gerard Rundell (percussionist).

All members of the band have strong academic background and have been working freelance with prestigious institutions such as the BBC Symphonic Orchestra, the English Chamber Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Chorus.

Lilly Zazou seeks to get the audience to embrace this little known musical period of French Jazz in a relaxed atmosphere best enjoyed with a large glass of Bordeaux (or two).
