An evening with the French viola

A programme of French music for viola and piano, including Milhaud's playful Quatre visages and inventive Second sonata, the Vieux temps Capriccio for solo viola and Franck's rapturous violin sonata.

The programme is performed by two of London's finest young professionals, American violist Stephen Upshaw and French pianist Thomas Besnard, both Fellows at the Guildahl School of Music and Drama.
