Saturday 19th June 2010 from 11am to 7pm
FREE TOURNAMENT OPEN TO ALL TO CELEBRATE THE START OF SUMMER
When it comes to relaxing under the summer sun, nobody does it better than the Southern French! So take a leaf out of their book and join us in the Chelsea Physic Garden for their two favourite past-times: pétanque and a Ricard.
For the third year running, Ricard, the number one French aperitif from France, will be kicking off the summer ‘célébrations’ with a pétanque tournament. Together with a Ricard bar, a French BBQ, ice creams, crepes and a live jazz band, it will be the perfect place to get together with friends and find yourself instantly transported to Provence.
Teams of three people (Triplette) can register for free any time from 11.00 am on the day or in order to guarantee entry teams can pre-register by emailing ricardpetanque@pernod-ricard-uk.com.

Every participant will be receive
1 Free Panama Hat
1 Free glass of Ricard
A set of boules with which to play
Marcels and straw hats also welcome, start practicing now!
For those of you unable to attend the celebrations in Chelsea Physic Garden, you can still enjoy a little taste of Provence at home. For a quick and easy summer tipple, why not try a Ricard Cocktail such as Ricard Lemonade:
INGREDIENTS:
2cl Ricard
1cl lime juice
1 teaspoon sugarcane juice
2cl sparkling water
METHOD:
Simply stir and pour in a small glass over ice. Voila!
