Cinémoi to air exclusive interviews, previews and the real red carpet experience and provide exciting new Cannes App Cannes Film Festival.

Cinémoi, the French Movie Channel is bringing all the excellence and glamour of international cinema direct from the Cannes Film Festival. British audiences will be immersed in all its charm via their Sky channel and now film enthusiasts will be able to follow developments via the first ever Cannes Film Festival iPhone App ‘Cinémoi Cannes’.

Showcasing everything from one-to-one interviews with actors and directors, reports and clips of films from the official selection and first hand news from the red carpet and hottest parties; this impressive broadcast schedule will be free-to-air on Sky channel 343.

Robin Hood

The festival has this year opened with Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood and highlights have include the première of Wall Street - Money Never Sleeps directed by Oliver Stone.

British directors Mike Leigh (Another Year) and Stephen Frears (Tamara Drewe) are present ing their latest films at the festival.

Three French directors’ films are in competition this year, including Bertrand Tavernier for La Princesse de Montpensier. New wave veteran director Jean-Luc Godard is introducing his latest release, Film Socialisme.

UK subscribers of Cinémoi will fir the first time also reach their audience through a unique iPhone App ‘Cinémoi Cannes’. For the first time, iPhone users will be able to follow the Cannes Film Festival instantly through a selection of 10 photos everyday available on the free App from Elastik Mobile: ‘Cinémoi Cannes’.

30 minute broadcasts (free-to-air) will take place on:
• Thursday May 13th at 8pm
• Saturday May 15th at 8pm
• Monday May 17th at 8pm
• Wednesday May 19th at 8pm
• Friday May 21st at 8pm
• Sunday May 23rd at 8pm
• Tuesday May 25th at 8pm
• There will be 2 repeats of each programme the following day
