Carmen by Georges Bizet
Leicester Square Theatre
This production is a new adaption especially for Actor Musicians, relocating the play in a contemporary Urban setting. Carmen's relationships are presented against a backdrop of Inner City tension and police surveillance, in a story of sexual passions that threaten the power of The State.
Bizet's memorable score is reworked in a piece of music theatre that is both immediate and provocative.
Please note that this is an amateur production.
