AURORE QUARTET return after their successful live cd recording at the Quecumbar

Take a double bass, two guitars and a violin. Shake, sprinkle with Slavic rythms, Gypsy Jazz and tunes from yiddish folksongs. Don't forget to add a pinch of swing and there you have it, the Aurore Quartet. A giddy musical cocktail.

 

They are Siegfried Mandacé (alias Ziggy) guitar, Pierre Frasque (alias Peter) bass, Thomas Ohresser guitar and all led by the glamorous and talented violin and vocals of Aurore, this joyous swing ensemble should be funded by Social security!

They are young, vibrant jazz manouchers, their music, a powerful anti depressant. Two guitars and double bass that swing around the captivating Aurore Voilqué, who cheekily delivers songs of Edith Piaf, Henri Salvador and others. A music jubilatoire breathing purified sounds, packed with rhythms and diversification. Reminicent of the master Django Rheinardt, with personal interpretations and compositions which "evolutionise" harmony.
