The brilliant and much-loved Canadian pianist Angela Hewitt presents a
programme of French music by and inspired by Rameau: the Frenchman’s
individual and characteristic keyboard pieces drew a suite from Ravel
and a set of variations from Dukas. The concert closes with music by
Rameau’s older contemporary, Couperin.
