Action Against Hunger is an international humanitarian organisation committed to saving the lives of malnourished children and working with vulnerable populations in over 40 countries worldwide to preserve and restore their livelihoods with dignity.

Action Against Hunger is this year's official charity partner of The S.Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants. And many restaurants have generously donated amazing culinary experiences for this exciting auction.Each unique offer includes an exclusive meal for two or more people at a world-renowned restaurant. The restaurants are located all over the globe, from Europe to the Americas to Asia-Pacific.In London, top restaurants Nobu and St John will be creating special offers for lucky bidders and at Hakkasan the Head Chef Alan Yau has created a bespoke menu with matching wines.
All funds raised through the auction will go to helping the charities vital work to help save lives of malnourished children and provide practical support to individuals when food is scarce.  And to familiesby providing them with the tools and assistance they need to build asustainable future.

The auction is split into 2 lots. The first starts 9am (UK time) on 21st April 2009. The first items will be available at this time, with others beginning throughout the day, and will run for 10 days.The second auction lot will begin 9am (UK time) 4th May 2009 and will also run for 10 days.
