The Shepherds Bush London Festival returns and this time it’s bigger and better. Enchanted Tunes is proud to present a week-long festival of magical evenings with the aim of celebrating the cultural diversity of Shepherd's Bush through music, comedy and the arts from the 1st to the 7th June. The festival will bring the best and most innovative live acts from all over the World to London W12.

On 1 June 2009: Jamel Debbouze

The festival kicks off on 1 June 2009 at the 02 Shepherds Bush Empire with an exclusive comedy night hosted by France’s top comic and actor Jamel Debbouze. Jamel has been part of French popular culture for years; he started out in stand-up comedy and then moved into TV and film. He was the winner of the Prix d'interprétation masculine at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival for his part in Indigenes (Days of Glory). The UK audience will be familiar with his work as ‘Lucien’ in ‘Amelie’ and also in Luc Besson’s ‘Angel-A’. Jamel appears for the first time on a London stage. The Jamel Comedy Club is a must see event for any French-speaking comedy lovers.

On 3 June 200: Gordon Masiala & NKA Musica

On 3 June 2009 the festival continues at Bush Hall with a performance from Gordon Masiala & NKA Musica. This is a must for anybody who loves African music specifically Congolese, the rumba and soukouss sound of this 12-piece band will blow you away literally. Be warned this event is all about the rhythm so be prepared to dance your socks off.

On 4 June 2009: Emmanuel Jal

On 4 june 2009 at Bush Hall, do not miss International Hip Hop star Emmanuel Jal, in a rare London appearance. Jal has won worldwide acclaim for his unique style of hip hop with its message of peace and reconciliation born out of his experiences as a child soldier in Sudan, his second album "Warchild" was released on the 12th May 2008. Jal last performed in London at Nelson Madela's 90th birthday celebration in Hyde Park, London, June 08.

On 7 June: Lyric L guests

The festival draws to a close on 7 June 2009 with Lyric L guests at Ginglik. This is a spoken word and hip hop event. This is a chance to experience some great rapping and to party at the most intimate event of the festival.
