One in four will experience at least two serious traumas. The rest are bound to fall on hard times. But can we recover from major trauma? French psychologist Boris Cyrulnik says that we absolutely can. In his bestselling book Talking of Love on the Edge of a Precipice (Alen Lane, 2007), he shows us how to use our powers of resilience to live again. Boris Cyrulnik will explain why he thinks that trauma is not destiny, rather that we can grow in the face of problems.
