Myths and Legends at the Livesey Museum for Children, 682 Old Kent Road, London.

This free exhibition features hands-on displays and is designed to support the National Curriculum at Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Enter the lair of a giant dragon... can you steal its treasure? Are you brave enough to find the dreaded Minotaur in the dark labyrinth? Discover the story of Osiris, Lord of the Egyptian underworld and explore traditional tales in a teepee with Coyote and Raven. Climb aboard a mythical ship and face the challenge of the sea monsters! Find your favourite mythical hero...and legendary beast! until Aug 26 2006

The Livesey is for all children under 12, their families, parents, carers and teachers - for great days out, for schools and in the holidays. Every year has a new interactive exhibit. C hildren learn things by experimenting and investigating, by using their imagination … and by having fun!
Every exhibition is designed to support the National Curriculum at Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
